Ten years after a failed music career, Sylvie runs into her former bandmate David, now busking and living on the streets of Portland, and offers him a place to stay for three days while her husband is away. Having survived a traumatic childhood, Sylvie’s been in the habit of numbing herself to life. David chips away at her refusal to play music and they are soon performing together again, but their emotional connection, tied to the music, begins to resurface. Sylvie must now choose between the security of her current life, or the turbulent life of an artist.
